Hello, and welcome to my photography website!

I thought I'd share a little bit about myself, if you're interested...

My name is Paul, I am 27 years old, and I live in beautiful Seattle, Washington. I work full time as an Aerospace Engineer, part time as a Landscape & Commercial Photographer and with my free time I like to run marathons, read books, ride my bike, travel everywhere, watch movies, and eat spicy food and/or ice cream. I'm always on the lookout for something new to learn - even if it's something I should already know how to do!  (like how to fold a fitted bed sheet)

I'm a very goal oriented person. There's no better feeling than writing things down that I'd like to do or see, and then coming back later and checking them off. I find that life is sweetest in list form.

The experiences that I find most memorable have always been while outdoors or traveling someplace new. I don't know if this has something to do with the limbic (reptile) part of my brain reacting to unfamiliar stimulus, or a high level existential sense of awe. Maybe it's a 50/50 split? Either way, I love being outside - especially in the mountains or near the water. Luckily, Seattle has both!

Overall, my philosophy on life is that it's far too short to be sad or angry for very long. Every day presents a totally new opportunity to find out more about this mysterious world through new experiences and connections. I also think that people are generally better off pursuing fulfillment over achievement and should work to avoid being too busy to stop and enjoy a beautiful sunset. These things are important to me.

Some specific things that I am working to be better at are:

- cleaning up my computer desktop

- living in the moment

- keeping my indoor plants alive

- not locking myself out of my apartment (yes, this happens, usually when I'm living in the moment)

- updating my photography portfolio

- not worrying about what other people think

Hopefully now that you know a little bit about me,  you'll remember my website and come back to check in and see new photos every now and then. If you'd like to reach out, I'd love to chat!

If your brand or business has a need for professional photographs, I'd love to hear about your project! Shoot me a  message using the CONTACT button at the top of the page. I work really hard to make sure my clients get the quality materials they're looking for. There is no project that I won't consider!
